double standards
It beats me at times witnessing the hypocrisy that revolves amidst the people in this world, i ain't saying that i have not been part of this or in the future might not coerce, but when you realize that this event occurs more frequently than needed you begin to question the pure existence of truth.
We have been raised in an environment that educates us in honesty and integrity,where one is fed with thoughts and morals towards leading a life devoid of false beliefs. But, when you enter the harsh realities of life, where your survival rests on your gift of gab as much on the same level as your skillset that you have acquired, we begin to manipulate with the values that we need to base our lives and end up compromising our path to an extent that we enter the domains of mediocrity.
I donot see an end to this topic, and would assume that this is going to remain as a active member of every individual's life, we could reduce its activity, but can never put it to rest forever.

true, but do we have to listen to those pettyminded souls. I always believe that they perform this act to deny you from being a free soul, as they sold the status in exchange of minor worldy gains.
Firstly, I really dont understand "pettyminded souls"..mind and soul ..?!
Secondly, status today is pretty much proportional to worldly, material gains. The scale on which status is measured is fundamentally flawed.
Thirdly,can someone else deny us our own existence? I disagree, bearing the exception of The Almighty ofcourse.
None can deny another from being a free "spirit".(I would rather use spirit in place of soul, which is a different aspect, neverthless important). Being free in spirit lies within and not out. If at all, it is dependent on external factors, the word "free" loses its significance.
Lastly, no, we dont have to listen to anyone, I think.

pettyminded souls is an oxymoron that i used to intentionally depict those; who have sold their soul but are living with just the mind.
Your view is congruent on the fact,none other than self can deny the right of freedom to the free spirit.
Status as you said is flawed, though it depicts an individual, it has been derived on relative basis, therefore it contradicts its own logic at the end.
Listening to them would definitely bring in the element of foolhardiness.But, could do it for the comic in you to thrive:)
