Alien homeland

I was over to a friends place over the weekend at NJ- worthy to mention that this state definitely is going revolt against the federal government to provide it the status of being a separate Indian state. Lest you get confused, i shall clarify that the Indians i seek to mention, from the variety they possess out here are ones from the sub-continent back in Asia.

The place is humming with incessant chatter filled with gossips and free information to drive away, even, probably the tinge of homesickness one might be carrying. Is this something to be proud, not really i would say; after spending about $1000 and travelling 10000 miles, i was looking out for a change, and now i am bemused almost at my foolishness of landing into the Tigers Den ( Its my country's nation animal too).

It defintely has its positive aspects with respect to the spicy food that one is used too, a gourmets delight the place is, but yet found myself missing the earstwhile and garrulous vegetable vendors of the street who would turn into living nightmares for even the most hardened men living in violent neighborhoods, and carrying the tag of being ruthless. Would surely help reduce the crime rates through non-violent means. This should make us proud as this would fit the brand image of being from the land of Gandhi !

I should say; yes, India is truly globalized. We extend our culture and ettiquecies beyond the boundaries of our famous nation into continents that probably had never seen it and those who have, but have stepped to rehab.
