Noticeable Changes

This year has etched deep into the human spirit of survival. The financial gap in the society has grown more wider. Those who believed in the investment and economic gurus on Wall street have had their trust shattered and the voices ringing with bewilderment continue to echo in the hollow voids around the skyscrapers.
The human faces that we interact daily in street corners, subway and bus stations and coffee bars have had a withered look of misfortune. There seems to be a lack of belief in themselves. Many have been overwhelmed by the sudden increase in the homeless. A few quarters is all these street-mongers seem to want to buy another day on the park benches or cold pavements until grim reaper finds them.
Yet, the ruthless facet of life, which is unfathomable, prefers us to continue, to keep grand scheme of this planet on its course. As the dawn breaks, i awake to listen, the latest twist in the tale that life has been narrating to me.
